Science
All Middle School students are currently required to take Science 7 (Life Science) and Science 8 (Physical Science). All High School students are required to take three years of Science: currently, one year of Biology, one year of Chemistry and a third year of Physics. Four years, including Advanced Placement Environmental Science are recommended for those pursuing a higher degree in science or engineering.
All Classes meet the California Science Content Standards for California Public Schools for grades 7-12 and are transitioning to the Next Generation Science Standards.

In addition to science, one semester of Health is required, generally taken in the 9th grade year.
