All Middle School students are required to take Life Science (7th grade) and Physical Science (8th grade). All High School students are required to take three years of Science: one year of Earth Science, one year of Biology, and a third year of Physics or Chemistry. Four years, including Advanced Placement Environmental Science are recommended for those pursuing a higher degree in science or engineering.
In addition to science, one semester of Health is required.
All Classes meet the California Science Content Standards for California Public Schools for grades 7-12 and are transitioning to the Next Generation Science Standards.
