Regular PTSA meetings are held in Room 7 on the first Monday of the month, at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted in the school newsletter. An agenda of the general meeting is also included in the school's monthly newsletter along with the treasurer and committee reports. All parents and students are welcome at and encouraged to attend regular PTSA meetings.
If you haven't already joined, please contact the president or inquire at the school office. Your membership fee goes a long way. Annual dues are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
PTSA can use parent volunteers for assistance with performances, field trips, events, dance chaperones, fund raisers, and more. Please contact our volunteer coordinator if you are interested in helping in any of these areas.
We welcome parent involvement at MCAA. Research shows that students whose parents are involved in their education generally acheive higher grades and test scores, attend school more regularly, do their homework more consistently, and exhibit more positive attitudes and behaviors.
Please visit the school office any time and stay in touch with your student's teachers and counselor. See the Staff Directory for phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
We also welcome community participation, including donations of time, money, materials, and expertise.
